Biomedical Circuits and Systems Lab (BCAS Lab) welcomes motivated students who are interested in biomedical integrated circuits, neural interfaces, wireless power and data transfer, low-power sensor interfaces, PVT sensor ICs, and bioelectronic systems.
Our research is based on low-power analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit design. At the same time, we aim to connect circuit design to complete hardware systems, including chip implementation, PCB/system prototyping, measurement, validation, and biomedical applications.
We welcome students who want to experience both semiconductor circuit design and real system implementation. Students in BCAS Lab can participate in the full hardware research flow, including IC design, chip implementation, PCB/system prototyping, measurement, and system-level validation.
In addition to academic research, our lab conducts industry-collaborative projects, including collaborations with Samsung Electronics DS and DX. Through these projects, students can gain hands-on research experience closely connected to the semiconductor, biomedical hardware, and system implementation industries.
Students interested in industry-linked graduate programs, including the SK hynix-linked track in the Department of Semiconductor and Nano Engineering, are also encouraged to contact us.
